Dance
Artistic Statement
Dance tells the truth faster than words ever could. It’s a universal language that speaks across rhythm, emotion, and movement. Whether I’m choreographing a musical number, leading a class, or performing live, my goal is to create work that connects viscerally and honestly. My style blends technical training with storytelling, shaped by a lifelong relationship with dance that started not in a studio, but in the streets and neighborhoods where movement was a part of everyday life. That foundation continues to inform everything I do.

Teaching and Studio Work
I’ve taught classes in jazz, tap, musical theatre, ballet, pointe, contemporary, and dance team styles ( including pom, commercial jazz, and hip hop) at Nutmegs Dance and Theatre Co. since 2007. I’ve also taught at the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet and served as a teaching artist at Playhouse on Park Theatre Co.
In every class, I focus on strong foundational technique, performance quality, and storytelling through movement. I emphasize musicality, clarity, and helping each dancer build confidence. One of the most rewarding aspects of studio teaching is watching students grow over time, from beginner classes to advanced levels, and returning years later. Teaching at Nutmegs has been especially meaningful to me, as it is a creative and welcoming space with a strong sense of community.
